The HS Long Cheek 16mm Sensogan Weymouth Bit features a straight bar with a slight port so not contact is pressured to the sensitive palate. Rather, steady and even pressure is transmitted onto the whole tongue-width. This bit is a good choice for horses with a flat palatal arch. Higher poll pressure is applied with 7 cm cheeks causing the leverage effect to be slightly delayed. The leverage effect sets in more directly with 5 cm cheeks. Additionally, the mouthpiece is made of Sensogan. Developed by SPRENGER, Sensogan is toxicologically tested, has a high compatibility and is exceptionally well tolerated. Furthermore, the Sensogan mouthpiece is easy to clean and results in a consistent flow of saliva promoting bit acceptance.
